Esta pieza forma parte de una serie de trabajos con mecanismos y circuitos, que indaga los límites entre voltaje, -tensión o fuerza- y resistencia, dentro de un sistema específico.

La máquina está programada para representar un mecanismo de distribución de energía que busca estabilidad o equilibrio. La geometría es una estructura dodecaedro con doce puntas o extremidades. A través de cada una de estas ramas, una terminal electromecánica se mueve longitudinalmente para energizar un filamento de metal que funciona al rojo vivo.

Los límites del equilibrio en relación con la energía disponible y la resistencia de los materiales subrayan la fragilidad del sistema.

This piece is part of a series of works with mechanisms and circuits, that inquires into the boundaries between voltage, -tension or strength- and resistance, inside a specific system.

The machine is programmed to represent an energy distribution mechanism that seeks stability or balance. Geometry is a dodecahedron structure with twelve points or limbs. Through each of these limbs, an electromechanical terminal moves longitudinally to energize a metal filament that operates red hot.

Balance boundaries in relation to the available energy and the resistance of materials underline the fragility of the system.
